Number not active

My friend also used the amici plan like me but their number won’t activate. The SIM works because the wifi/network is present but they can’t call or text or log into the app, so they are stuck. It has been well over 24 hours since they received the Welcome message with their number and confirmation. What can they do? Please help us!
